“…We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God,” (Colossians 1:9-10 CSB)
If knowledge truly is power, than we have all the power we need through the knowledge of King Jesus!
In Colossians 1, we read that Christ is everything. Heaven and Earth were created by Him (v.16), the fullness of God dwells in Him (v.19), and He has reconciled all things to Himself through His blood on the cross (v.20).
Jesus is the center of all things!
My friend, you don’t have to have everything figured out. The pressures that come into our lives can certainly make us feel like we do, but that’s just not the case.
The truth is this: Only our knowledge of who Jesus is can bring us the peace and hope we actually need. It is only through Him that we are equipped to live lives that are pleasing to Him.
Prayer: Lord, we come before you thankful for who you are! Thank you for being the center of our lives. Thank you for being a strong rock we can stand on when life seems to swirl all around us. We want to grow in the knowledge of who you are today, so speak to our hearts and reveal more of your glory to us.
