About Us

Kingdom First Ministries is about placing God’s interest first in the earth, believing that seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness will result in Him adding all things unto us (Matthew 6:33). We do this by serving people for purpose, thus extending the Kingdom of God to the whole earth.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible

The Bible is God’s word to all people.  It was written by human authors, inspired by the Holy Spirit and completely relevant to our daily lives.

The Trinity

God exists in eternity past, present, and future.  God exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with each having a distinct function.

Father

God is Spirit.  God is light. God is love.  God is all powerful.  God is all knowing.  God is ever present. God is good.  God is faithful to his people and promises.

Son

Jesus Christ is completely human.  Jesus is completely God. Jesus was crucified and died, buried, and was resurrected from the dead, so that all who believe in Him will have eternal life.  Jesus is the only way to have a righteous relationship with the Father.

Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit assures us of our relationship with Jesus Christ.  Holy Spirit guides us into all truth and exalts Jesus.  Holy Spirit convicts people of sin.  Holy Spirit comforts. Holy Spirits gives spiritual gifts.  Holy Spirit makes us more like Jesus Christ.

Salvation

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin.  Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ, as satisfaction of God’s wrath due to our sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

Mankind

Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation.  Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience.  As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through his own effort.  Every human is uniquely created, possessing dignity, and worthy of respect and Christian love.

The Church

The Church is the Body of Christ– a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Jesus Christ. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of bringing Glory to Jesus Christ.
